Thank you for your interest in applying to be a Fraternity & Sorority Life Ambassador at Mississippi State University!
Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) Ambassadors is a program run by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Mississippi State University (MSU). Ambassadors serve as the official representatives of the MSU FSL community and the 4 governing councils. The
main function of FSL Ambassadors is to educate prospective students and families about fraternities and sororities by communicating all the opportunities that the Greek community, and Mississippi State University, have to offer. These opportunities include
leadership, philanthropy, academics, and social activities. FSL Ambassadors will maintain a high level of professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge of fraternity and sorority life. FSL Ambassadors also assist the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life in
hosting events for prospective students and current members of the Greek community.
Role & Responsibilities of FSL Ambassador:
- FSL Campus Visit Presentations
- Preview Day – FSL Socials
- Attend Monthly General Meetings
- Special circumstance events (i.e.,dinners, lunches, tabling events, etc)
- Attend New Ambassador trainings & show working knowledge of all required materials
- Other assignments or responsibilities as needed (i.e., attending FSL events, assisting with Office of Admissions events, etc.)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Full- time student at Mississippi State University and be an active member in good standing of a Panhellenic, IFC, NPHC, or MGC organization
- Joined chapter Fall of 2024 or before
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Able to commit to the program for an academic year (Fall and Spring semester)
- Must be comfortable speaking to prospective students and representing FSL Community & MSU
